Afoot A New Murder Mystery Musical Books, music & lyrics by James
McDonald, David Vox & Robert Gerlach
Directed by
Musical Director
|
| Something’s Afoot
is a musical spoof of the who-dunnit genre set in the 1930’s. All of the
characters are British stereotypes. The time is late spring, 1935. The
place is Rancour’s Retreat- the country estate of Lord Dudley Rancour,
located on an island in the middle of a lake, somewhere in the English
lake district.
Who did it? Did the butler do it? Or was it Nigel, the dissolute nephew? Who knows!! You’ll just have to wait and see. Please sit back and enjoy the drama
and intrigue and test your sleuthing abilities.
