I was given a
bag of pottery fragments that had been collected around
the island over a number of years. When this project started
I decided to make a mosaic ship out of these fragments as
it fits to my island life theme.

| Pam
works in mosaic and has been handed on some very old farmhouse
china relics. Pam would like us to document her moment of
discovery as she has delved into the sack before for fear
of not handling them respectfully (historical heritage) and
where this will lead her. With the guidance of the other artists
and correct protocols, Pam will work creatively with these
materials. |

Pam has been involved
in imaginative and creative pursuits since childhood. She prefers
to work with found or recycled objects to create useful and/or decorative
items, particularly in mosaics, glass and ceramics. Has attended
numerous workshops and retreats and enjoys being a member of the
"Still Angry Penguins" art group |
