The King Island Regional Development Office offers services such as computer hire, internet access, word processing, photocopying, facsimile and laminating, desktop publishing, website development, printing (all mediums), binding, scanning, internet search & research, client support, conference/meeting room hire, training for business, community groups and individuals and also accommodates the Broadband for Seniors Kiosk and Online Access Centre.
The Broadband for Seniors Kiosk offers the opportunity for older people to discover how the web can play a great part in helping them stay in touch with friends and family, along with offering access to the wealth of information available online. The Online Access Centre provides internet access to both locals and visitors, one on one computer training, computer courses held regularly, online learning through TAFE & university, email set up, one on one computer support, hire of Online Access Centre Computer Room for businesses and community organisation training.
KIRDO is open Mondays & Thursdays 10.30am - 5.00pm, Wednesdays 10.30am - 7.00pm, Fridays 10.30am - 9.00pm & Saturdays 10.00 are - 12noon. Closed Tuesdays, Sundays and all public holidays and we are located at 5 George Street, Currie.
